the washer works fine ,but the clothes are wet at the end of the drying cycle and the glass door nolonger gets hot but the drum still moves correcyly and it appears to be pumping out . i have had a look for spares and the ones i found listed are dryer fan motor, dryer heater, thermostat.

any ideas

sounds like the dryer heating elements or their stat has gone

For the cost of parts i would get a separate tumble dryer (if space allows)

I had similar problem and had the repair man round to sort it. He had to put in a new PCB (£30-40) plus labour. I have a collegue who had this problem but all it was was a fuse had blown. Open up the back and low down on the left side (your left) there is a fuse, it maybe covered but there should be one there, check it first
