Hi.

I bought a new washing machine yesterday after the old one packed up. I've reconnected all the pipes and the machine works fine, however the drainage pipe that exists on the wall to which the tube/hose from the machine is fed into keeps over spilling when the machine is emptying water. It didnt do it on the last one just started now. I have fed a rod through it incase gunk was in the trap but not alot came out. is there a seal or some kind of tape that will stop the water from spilling back out.

The hose came with a rubber thing attached to the end which is in as far as it will go but it doesnt provide a full seal in the pipe.

Can any one help?

Charlie, I think my user name gives it away what I do.

Glad it worked and thank you for lettings us know that it has been fixed.

Andy
