Hello,

My question is this. Currently our washing machine drain hose is connected to a spigot on the kitchen sinks drain trap, however we're having a new kitchen fitted which means the sink will now be on the far left of the kitchen and the washing machine on the far right. The drain pipe will therefore run from the kitchen sink on the left and all the way along the wall until it goes out of our flat to the right. What would I connect the washing machine drain hose to now that the trap is too far away. Is there another fitting I can add along further along the drain pipe?

Thanks very much for any info.

Oliver

Can you not install a waste pipe local to the washing machine? If you are redesigning the kitchen should not be such a big deal!
