About 3.5 weeks ago we had the brushes repaired on our hoover acm1600 washing machine by a local tradesman. All was fine until about a week ago when there was a loud bang and the machine stopped spinning. I removed the back panel and found the motor laying on the floor and disconnected. I re-attached the motor along with the belt and tightened up all the bolts, all has been fine until tonight when the same thing has happened again. Now all was fine with this machine until the repairman removed the motor to do the brushes. Has he done something wrong or is this a common fault? I have never heard of a motor just working free from it's mount so before I go and confront the shop I could do with some advice..Many thanks..
