Water cut off

Hi,

our water has been stopped due to a faulty main which is currently being worked on (will be rectified within 6 hours apparently).

Is there anything I should turn off in the house - the hot water pump seems to be getting quite hot. What about heating?

FYI our water system is direct, no header tank just a pressure thing next to the hot water tank.

Probably a bit late now, but your central heating is a sealed system and does not require mains water other than to refill it.

The hot water pump will be hot, probably due to the hot water going through it...
