no it doesnt ,it eqalises high pressure to what ever the low pressure supply is by means of an equalibriam valve

In that case fit an 'exposed' Trevi Boost, with exposed pipework (chrome if you want it), and a diverter valve, and your wife will have exactly what she wants.
