I've just redone my bathroom, i've replaced the bath, sinks and electric shower with new and done away with the electric for a mains fed shower.....and now i can't get hot water out of any tap in the house unless i have a certain tap turned on full at the same time otherwise the water will only get warm! what have i done wrong!?

Have you got a combi? Perhaps youve not turned the stopcock open enough so the boilers not recognising the flow. just a thought.

What taps have been replaced :?: It could be that not enough water is flowing through the boiler to trigger it to fire up.

Assuming combi boiler. :D

yes its a combi boiler. if i have the bath tap on full (which runs cold) all the other taps in the house work fine with good hot water.

the shower is a walk in one and the bath stand alone both have a mixer.

they are Amber Helix Concealed thermostatic sequential shower valve

Turn off isolation valves to bath mixer and try combi, if it now works you need to fit non-return valves in hot & cold supplies to mixer.
