Water pouring out when filling

Hello,

I have a Renova Bulex Thema F23E (also sold as brand Saunier Duval) which I need to repressurise.

There are two silver coloured valve handles that I need to turn at a 45 degree angle. The left valve needs to be turned to the left. The right valve needs to be turned to the right.

The problem is that whenever I turn the on the right, water starts pouring out of the little brass opening immediately to the left of it.

Is this normal?

OK, for some strange reason the photo is upside down.

The little brass opening is supposed to have the safety discharge pipework attached to it, something has happened to make the safety valve open and it has got stuck, your boiler needs to be looked at by a boiler hengineer.
