Hi All I use this site all the time for great tips, but struggling to find my solution, so here goes.

I have a small 2 bed old cottage which I have just installed a combi boiler in, the installation guys said the water pressure was adequate for the boiler! The problem I am having now is the kitchen water tap is very low pressure just a trickle and the boiler is not even on, this is both the hot and cold taps, also the electric shower upstairs in the bathroom keeps cutting out due to low pressure coming through it.

I think I need a water pressure pump installing but not sure where and what sort I need to get. I will get a professional in to fit it but would like to price it up before hand.

Can anyone help with the type that I need, and where it should be fitted.

Thanks

You don't seem to be taking the matter up with the installer of the combi?

Is there any reason why, after all, they apparently convinced you that it would be OK?

Solutions include;

Larger water main pipe
Grundfos Homeboost
TCWS Accumulator

The correct solution choice will depend on pressure and flow measurements, so I can't advise you any further based upon the limited info you provided.
