Installed a new Baxi Duotech 33 six months ago and now find that the water supply in the house comes for about 10 seconds about 6 times during the night and also during the day. Everything but the c.heating is switched off and no leaks in radiators or taps or other appliances. Does anyone know why? Is it a fault in the new boiler

MMMMmmmmmmmmm.... let me guess , no sorry haven't a scooby what your on about . who installed the boiler ???

It sounds during the night that someone is running the water for 10 seconds or so. The only appliance that is switched on and needs water is the boiler. All other appliances (dishwasher, wash mach) are powered off, so why do we hear this?

I'm going to take a wild guess , it could be you have pre heat on don't know if others would agree ( I'm reading between the lines )

Could it be your neighbour? Do you share a main with them ?

Try 'alimentary canal' then and consider the wc as an extension of that :p - play on words Jeff, play on words! :)
