Can anyone help please. I have had a longstanding leak in the bathroom which has resulted in water gathering under the asphalt floors. It is now appearing through cracks in the asphalt in other rooms. My insurance has denied the claim as down to wear and tear and I am now on my own to try and repair the damage  .

you need a new insurance company. How can they say wear and tear? Your floors are water damaged and need stripping up and relaying. Get back on to them or seek advice from a solicitor or trading standards etc.
