Hi, just wondering what yer experiences with using waterproofer for external rendering.I dont like to use it in the scratch coat but does anyone use it in the float coat and does it stop the muc going off to fast?
Hi,
Why do you not want to use waterproofer in the scratch coat?It will make the job a lot easier when you come to put on the top coat, and you wont be bothered with any suction. It also makes the render weatherproof.I use it in both coats if it's just a cement render finish.
yeah its a napp finish which we usually do, i doubt it would be good stuff to napp if there was waterproofer in it would it?when the weather is good waterproofer in the scratch mite be ok but i think it makes finishing a bit unpredictable no?
