Waterproofer for small plywood roof

Have some left over exterior ply and am looking to use a paint-on waterproof coating for a couple of small storage area roofs.
I hate felt and there are several options when I've googled it, all with pros and cons.

Just wondered if someone has experience of a successful product.

I used Dulux Ultimate Opaque on Marine ply in our open porch - recommended , i think here and at the centre
this was before covid - I think around 2019 , may have been after 1st lockdown .......
No sign of any problems and it does get wet as the wind from sea blows up towards the porch and so one side is usually wet

But expensive stuff now , like all paint

Bitumen paint is good and relatively cheap.

Took your advice, and although as you say not cheap it's really easy to use and goes a long way.

Put on three coats, and the heavy rain we've had recently seems to have been repelled nicely.

Only time will tell about how long it will last, but happy so far.

As an aside, I wish all tins would come with a double lip like the opaque range as it's so much easier to avoid paint build up!
