I have a WDR 1020 which predates the eco wash option... I have inherited it and have no manual...
I have the later eco wash inclusive manual but it's not helping!

My probelm is this:

The only two programmes which work are the 95 and 60 which shrink my clothes, on all other programmes I turn the dial and it does nothing.. do you have any advice? I'm getting really cheesed off...

Hi there

Been a while since i've been on here! And happy to say that all this time later the machine is still working perfectly and running silently.

Afraid i don't know terribly much about the machine other than the bits that i fixed. From memory the dial that picks the programme has a number of cogs and teeth that engage as you turn it to the required setting. Is it possible that the cogs/teeth are not engaging properly for some of the other programmes?

Also, is the 60 degree wash also shrinking your clothes? If so, it might be somethinh to do with a temperature issue and possibly the 60 degree wash isn't actually 60 degrees?

But i will bow to the knowledge of the other experts round here - just my 2p's worth!
