Hello Community.

I'm looking at putting in a water vased ubder floor heating system.
It's a renovation, so doors, etc in place, hence I need a low profile system to minimise door base reduction.

Anyone done a low profile system?
Also, I'm on concrete floor, upper floor apartment building, so the slab base is not on ground soil....its intermediate floor.

Can I get away without insulation under the pipe system i lay due to intermediate concrete floor?

I'm looking a the Nexxa Vlo 12mm plastic crate system...which says the final liquid screed can be 22mm deep from base of the crate system (effectively the original concrete base slab?

If I put 5mm EPS insulation down 1st, then the Nexxa system, and 22mm screed , I come in at 27mm full system depth. This I can live with.

Any comments on 12mm pipe system, the 5mm EPS insulation I propose?
