I have spent the weekend sanding down an old oak front door. The door had been treated over the years to copious coats of stain and varnish and god knows what else. Where I have been able to use my sander, i've got rid of all the gung and the bare oak looks pristine. My problem is the door has a dozen or so inset panels and I need a tool that will enable me to get into all the nooks and crannies where my sander wont reach.
Wondered whether some sort of hobby tool will do the job - electric pencil type thingymajig with either a very small sander attachment or a not too rough grinding wheel. Any ideas
