I'm not one of these to post pictures of my cat/tea/slippers or describe every activity, or indeed any activity on social media, but I have slowly realised that Twitter is incredibly useful if, for example, you want to follow your local council, or favourite footie team, or see when your fav band are touring next.
It's like a completely self configurable news/gossip/info feed.
So as a relatively modern parent, have let my kids follow certain things .... however (need to be able to type the equivalent of that audio vinyl scratch sound!)... I've accidentally stumbled on some things I never would believe would appear on twitter... like a cellar door has been opened - truth is, twitter is just like the rest of the internet... porn/violence/complete ******...
Why did I imagine, even for a minute that twitter was different?
(still good for grown ups though!!)
