I have a Grundfosn Selecrtric ip44, class H central heating pump, on the side there is a switch that can be set to any of three positions.

can anybody tell me what this does? does it speed up the pump and could it improve the efficiency of my central heating system which, although all the rads work, doesn't seem to keep the house as warm as I would like?

All help gratefully received.

Regards,

Neil.

edit: yes it speeds up and slows down the pump

what is it set at now?

if the rads are working as they should then maybe it's other issues causing your house to loose heat?

but you could try setting it to 3 and see if it improves
