What edging under sliding door

I am fitting a laminate floor and this needs to be connected to the tiled floor in the en-suite. The en-suite has a sliding door. What kind of edging will I need to get for connecting these two floors?

I found threshold edging on US websites. Wondering what is it called in UK?

You can use a t profile or square edge for the tiles, depending how straight the finish is, the sliding doors we would normally use a square edge or possibly end profile if the space is limited
