What is a reasonable speed to dig a big pile of gravel?

We've specced up needing 5T of gravel for a feature (already built) to be dropped loose a dozen or so metres away. I have absolutely no idea how long that should take a reasonably fit but non-tradesman to shift, can anyone with experience tell me how long they reckon they'd take or how many barrow-fulls that is roughly? Trying to guesstimate how long it will be sat in the way since I'd probably only have time in the evenings to work through it.

Ta.

Took me and Mrs an afternoon to move and level 2tons of sand ( we are pensioners).
Thanks. Although I know several pensioners who can not just give me a run for my money, but leave me behind :)
Sounds like a reasonable amount to get done anyway.

I'm 58 and last year I shifted 6.5 tons (8 bulk bags) of MOT about 20m up an inclined drive in less than six hours on my own.

My biggest impediment was getting the stuff out of the bags into the wheel barrow. I wanted to keep the bags but ended up cutting them open to expose the MOT. Once you get into a rhythm it is surprising how much you can get done
