We bought a 1930s house six months ago and at the time these bubbles in the picture were smaller and unbroken. This internal wall is in the stairwell and there is a tiled shower on the opposite side. I poked through the biggest one a few months ago and there was no moisture felt however the paint and top plastering continues to lift and raise slowly around the edges. We suspect there is some involvement with the shower here but any opinion would be valuable.
