What paste for non-woven wallpaper?

Can anyone help please?

I've just bought some Cole & Son wallpaper, and on the instructions is says that due to being 'non-woven' (whatever that means) that I shouldn't use normal packet wallpaper paste as it may cause 'surface staining or adhesion problems'.

Problem is though, it doesn't really say what I should use! Anyone got any advice please?

If its non woven it'll be a paste the wall type paper. Cole and son do their own paste, go for a tub of their ready mixed, you will also cover yourself on warranty doing this.
If your going to line (which i highly recommend) make sure you use the same paste as you do with the finish paper
