We need around 150m of rope, to zig-zag up and down some green plastic net, at the back of the garden. The mesh is to siply hide a mountain of spoil over the other side of the fence, where they the railway have built an electrification compound. At the upper edge, the mesh is suspended from several posts all the way along. the bottom is only held down by tent pegs which rip out of the soft ground.

We've just bought some steel, screw in ground anchors, and now need some suitable rope, to zig-zag all the way along, from post, to anchor, back to post. What rope can we buy, which will not rot, outdoors please? It needs to be maybe 6mm

It seems I might already have what's needed. I was discounting blue polypropylene, because I had thought I had read somewhere, that it rots easily.

Blue polypropylene breaks down under UV light. It may take several years but it will rot. Go to a chandlers and buy some nylon halyard rope. Various thicknesses are available. If you can find somewhere to sell it by the roll it will be cheaper.

Edit: polyester should do it, lots available depending on your budget. Braid on braid, 3 strand etc.
