Im away to put a load of really good condition cast iron school radiators in my house, im happy with them they are all refurbed and pressure tested.

I have read contradicting info on what valves to use. Some save the flow rate through modern TRV's is not enough for old cast rads?

Also manual have been recomended as the flow and heat output in old cast iron rads is so consistent.

Please help before I commit to the worng thing.

Thanks

TRVs, to comply with Building Regulations. Buckingham valves from The Radiator Company look nice on old cast rads, but are a bit more expensive than your standard TRV so it depends on your budget
