How? The $ky 7-day epg is behind their paywall and the freesat one is 'encrypted data' as far as I know.
Via the interweb is possible as per Enigma boxes with 'images' and web-scraping of listings sources.
I plugged it into the LAN in the house, but it said it had failed to connect - I didn't pursue it. It says it is running Enigma software, which might explain it?
Or perhaps - Our LG TV, has a built-in sat receiver, but normally used on Freeview. I switched it to sat, to check the dish/LNB still worked, before testing the Skytec receiver on it. I've just checked the EPG on the LG, on sat - and that shows a full EPG for 7-days.
That's interesting... how does it 'know' there are new channels to look for (via the web?, via $ky's epg data, via freesat's??)
I don't know, but the option to update the channels automatically was there - whether it works, I may find out in time.
