Whats the best Insulated beam and block

Hi folks
Im trying to find out whats the best Insulated beam and block system for my parents house, There building in the highlands and the builders have not used any type of this up here so can any one help,

Have a look at the Hanson Jetfloor - it's beam and block but with polystyrene "blocks" in place of aggregate block - they do a range of thicknesses that allow you to increase the insulative properties.

Can't tell you how it goes down yet, but will (fingers crossed) be able to in about 6 weeks!

It gets cold up there in the winter.
I worked on Skye, and C. D. on the borders. Brrrrr
I built a house with b+b floors in Twickenham a few years ago and the (self) builder laid 2" of foam blocks on top of the b+b floor.
The suppliers will have various options.
you know when the weather is bad up there, the waterfalls run backwards.
