ive looked up external door seal and cant find anything
ive also tried drought excluder and all that comes up is the rubbish foam stuff

anyone know the proper name?

I think most of the diy sheds do them with a brush pile if you prefer it.

i cannot seem to find it any where lol thank you...

i hear its quite good for helping to block out external sounds...ive got a loudish communual hall where i live (my front door is between the stairs and the main door) i want to try and drown out some of the sound...was going to use some of this stuff, maybe some of the adhesive foam crap, a brush on the bottom and maybe even hand a curtain rail of some sort over the door to drown out sound

Look at things like your letterbox as well, you can get acoustic leterboxes.

Actually i dont have a letterbox on my door. I think most of it is coming around the gaps in the door frame.
