Later this week my living room will be plastered and I will be fitting new 14mm MDF bullnose skirting.

I will be using grab adhesive but don’t want to fully rely on this so will use screws and plugs too. My walls are grey blocks.

Which size screws and plugs would you recommend?

If they are the lightweight thermal/aerated blocks then drill them with the hammer function turned off.

If you used concrete screws then you wouldn't need plugs.
They are proper blocks, but if drilled them before without hammer so will do that again.

The alternative is to use foam to fix them and sprag them for 20 minutes or so whilst the foam goes off (or just pin them with a 16 or 18 gauge pinner). Learned that from @foxhole. They are surprisingly difficult to prise off a wall afterwards
