Posted recently (thanks for the replies) regarding 6 flashes error code. dismantled, cleaned just about everything and several resets. Tried rinse cycle that I assume bypasses nct temp probe (if not can it be tested?) but error code persists.

I want to check the reed switch. How do I remove water tank LHS that the flow meter sits in? Does it just pull off and lift up and out of the three 'o' rings? I can't see any other fixings and assume it must be a push fit, or does the grey circular water inlet grid inside have to come off first?

Any advice much appreciated. Dishwasher 2 years old and not used that much.

Thanks

Mike

Just to let anyone watching this post - dishwasher working. Hope I haven't spoken too soon.

Removed water tank by turning plastic water inlet inside washer 1/4 turn anti clockwise. Then able to lift tank up and away once small plastic locking tab pressed in. Removed reed switch circuit board and examined reed switch under hand held microscope - it looked intact. Gently cleaned contacts and reassembled. Tried it on short wash and it's working again for now. So it looks as though it could have been dirty contacts. Time will tell.
