Hi all i have just been given a whirlpool aquasteam 9759 by a friend of mine, which is the good part the bad which is where i could do with some advice is it wont power up. I was told the machine had taken the rcd out and then smelt of burning. i checked the pump which did look as it had been getting wet and found a load of nails stuck in the filter so took filter / pump apart cleaned put back together, but there is no display or lights showing. I know there is power into the machine as have tested, before anyone says how dangerous this is i am a trained electrician and checked with a none contact voltage tester. Is there somewhere to check first for lack of display and lights any help would be great as a 9kg machine would be great for a family of 6 rather than the 5kg we have now
