My dishwasher wash flashing and beeping like mad and then finally died, after investigating I've found the plug socket (not the plug) has blown hence there was no power to it. I've replaced the switched socket and powered my dishwasher back up...
It beeped at me for a while then seemed to go into action for about 20 minutes and then stopped. I checked it and the power had gone again, it's taken out the socket again and not taken the fuse on the plug out or tripped the CB!!
I presume it may be drawing more current slowly and then killing the socket??? i can't really chance keep going through sockets and don't want to risk sparks flying everywhere, lol!!!
