10 year old dishwasher stops after just a few minutes and the pre-rinse light just flashes repeatedly leaving 1/2 inch of water in the machine. Only by pressing ON button again will drain the water away. I have checked the visible pipes for kinks but seem okay, I have checked the filter which again seemed a bit grubby but even when cleaned the process described above repeated itself.
