Whirlpool DWF B10 integrated IKEA dishwasher problem

I have a 3 year old model which has worked fine until now. The problem appears to be electrical of some sort. After between 30 seconds and 3 minutes the dishwasher is tripping the electrical main circuit in the house and therefore is switching off. We have tried closing all other appliances whilst the dishwasher is on, but with no joy. As Whirlpools callout charge is £85 for labour alone, does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be? Many thanks in advance

poss heater fault ,you will have to check heater first,

thanks very much Rocks1. I've also just found out that IKEA stated including a FREE 5-Year Parts & labour Warranty with all integrated products bought after......August 2007. We bought ours 6 months too early !
