Whirlpool washing machine

I have been an idiot and put some curtains in to wash but left the curtain hooks on!!

I think a couple of them have escaped from the drum and it did start to make a clicking noise at the end of the cycle.

I have opened the pump cap but cannot see any hooks.

Any ideas on whether I need to try and get them out or whether they will make their own way out?


Can I get in there and get them out & if so, how can I do this?? or do I need to call a plumber?

They will not pass the pump but will either drop into sump or stop at filter if one is fitted or sit in pipe at pump.
