Just finished tiling new kitchen/diner floor using 2mm spacers and white cement based grout.
I'm a bit concerned about the grout staining from any spillage.
Was wondering whether the grout could be sealed with anything, perhaps travertine tile sealer?
Would probably be a PITA to apply, any thoughts on this.

White grout on a high traffic area is asking for brown grout. White grouted my bathroom floor and regret it.

Grey grout on floors as goes with most colours and does not show the dirt.

Rule number one for floor tiles - Never ever use a light coloured floor grout.

Well, you can, but it'll soon turn a dark, stained, patchy colour from dirt.

Seal the grout with Fila Grout Protector. Stops the grout drinking up floor gunk.

In my (limited) experience even white epoxy grout discolours as soon as kids with muddy shoes walk across the floor a few times.
