Victorian house, no ventilation in loft that i can see, hasn't been a problem until i left the lid off the cold water tank for a few days because hot water was getting into it. That problem has been fixed by a plumber.
I have now found white mould on the rafters. It rubs off easily so i have vacuumed it off.
Am i right to think now the lid is back on and i have removed the mould that all will be ok?
Ive looked at lots of other houses like mine and cant see any with soffit vents or vent tiles so assume i dont need any - am i right?
Should i now treat the rafters with anything? someone suggested bleach?
