White on my bricks after treatment with Stormdry

Can anyone help me get rid of this white? Treated brickwork and about one third of the 1m square area I treated has lots of white on red brick after some weeks. Admittedly, treated when temp was lower than ideal and rained after 24 hours probably. Is this salt? Any ideas? Thanks, K

Why was brickwork treated?

Had some pealing wallpaper on inside wall. Brick area in question looked very porous. White has appeared after a few weeks. Just tried scrubbing a small piece with water and has currently disappeared.

Its not a cure for loose wallpaper.
