Why Radiators heating when rn hot tap turned on?

Hi all why are my radiators heating when hot water tap is turned on? Is it something I can fix myself?

I assume you have a gas combi boiler and the diverter valve is the source of the problem. Can you repair it yourself ? if it's a gas appliance would you be competent or even wise to Do it ?

Okay. Is this dangerous that this is happening?

Not dangerous ,just means your boiler isn't operating efficiently and your wasting energy, that costs you money. It needs sorting though.

Okay. Although winter is on the way so I guess I can look at it as extra heat in the house and get it fixed start of next summer.

make and model of the boiler ? it is not a plus even in winter, your HW will not get as hot as it should

Not in the house at the moment I know it's glow worm and I think it's the 28c but not 100%
