Hi Everyone
Anyone got any thoughts on this?
I tried a bag of Wickes One Coat Patching Plaster and got on fine with it.
I got another bag and had real trouble - it was really gritty and sandy - I found it was murder to taper out and made me cringe with the scraping of the grit in it against the wall and the float!!!
Now I wonder -is it supposed to be gritty like this or is the batch contaminated?
I don't know enough about plaster but I'm sure it shouldn't be gritty. I always thought that if a plasterer dropped plaster on the floor he would never pick it up and use it again because of the grit in it.
Was the first bag which was really smooth to apply normal and the other bad - not sure if I should take it back as a bad bag or not?

Thanks
G.
