Will Foil loft insulation meet BR?

Hi doing a loft conversion and have been told to use two layers on kingspan insulation.
One layer in-between the rafters and the other going across. I was was wondering if a could use one layer in-between the rafters and the foil insulation across? Would it meet BR?

You need to ask your BCO, but unless this product really does have accreditation as it claims, I'm sure he won't want to know.

There is rather a lot of bs in the ad : thermal-bridging ! and additional noise-suppression fromthe extra layers ! And that's from something only 30 mm ( or so ) thick.



Be aware that there has to be a 25 mm sealed air-gap on either side of this product. All foils do.

I think it is likely this is YBS Superquilt and there was a lively discussion on this during last 4-6 weeks. Do a search either in this forum or Building.
