Hi,

I'm looking to lay ceramic tiles in my upstairs bathroom (ontop of floorboards). I've read the posts on how to do this (which are very informative) but i have the following question.

I'm looking to put a "roll top" bath in and am wondering if i can place it on top of the tiles or would the weight of a full bath + body be too much and disturb the "lay" of the tiles?

Thanks

Steve

What you could do,is to make sure the bath feet is resting on the nearest to the centre of the floor tiles to prevent the weight cracking near the edge of the tile and also put plenty tile adhesive under the tile to give a solid bedding.Follow the manufacter requirement for laying floor tiles onto the floorboards.
