Window Tint

Problem, top of my mums kitchen window is level with the main road, as a result..people walking past can get a full look inside the kitchen which my mum doesn't like.

Would it be better to get a new tinted window glass installed or apply a tint film to the inside of the window have the same effect?

Tinting or obscure glass?

New glass would cost more but would last longer.

Covering with film would be cheaper but won't last as long.

Double edged sword I'm afraid
