After transferring files from an old computer to a new one, my new Laptop which is running Vista has windows Mail as opposed to Outlook Express, My old laptop ran under XP.
My Windows Mail is now sending every e-mail twice. I can't find any settings or resaon as to why it does this.
How can I stop it?

You could try to remove the email account (not emails) just the settings a nd create a new one. This should sort it.

Thanks jj,
I eventually found that my e-mail account had been set up twice. QUite how this happened I am at a loss to understand. I think when I tried to transfer ONE photograph file from my old computer to my new one (this was after I had transferred all files and settings previously) for reasons of which I am not aware, the e-mail account was set up a second time, although I did not transfer any mail files.
Another one of those magical mysteries of these damn computers.
Thanks for you help.
