windows on ebay

Does anyone have experience of buying second hand (or new e.g. mis-sized) upvc windows on ebay?

Presumably the main problem is you may have to wait ages to find the right sizes, and buying from multiple sources would mean they don't match. And they may not meet current building regs.

But apart from all that they do look temptingly cheap....

Well if they're cheap, go for it. If they're too small, you can fill the gaps, if they're too large, you can hire an angle grinder. The improtant thing is they're CHEAP!!
