Wiper aerofoil on micra..

I am going to change wipers but the old driver's wiper has an aerofoil on. Do i need an aerofoil for a 1.2 litre micra?

It'll be fine without it. Some are transferrable to the new blade in any case.
Have seen plenty that have been fitted upside down and the customer has not complained about poor visibility.

probably not needed on a 1.2 micra! they do help stabilise the wiper at motorway speeds though
