Chaps,

Situation: Want to switch on garden light from upstairs kitchen. There is no way of taking a wire from the kitchen switch to the garden. Do any of you know of a way of doing this via say a wireless contactor?

It must be switched from a normal wall light switch.

thanks

Thanks. It looks like the switch has to be screwed off to replace the batteries. Is that so? Can a transformer be used instead of batteries?

It works with batteries. To convert to mains operation you would need a fully rectified DC power supply. Difficult to do indoors but a non starter outside.
Also probably you'd invalidate the warranty.

Changing batteries every couple of years isn't much of a chore.
