WMA40S motor not turning

Any help appreciated.
Happened instantly.
Could it be brushes?
i hear a binding sound when it should be turning and the lights flash in sequence( like runway lights) at the end of the failed programme. This must be an error code, but I have no idea as to which error. Many thanx, Ian

Yes most poss motor brushes are worn that error code could only mean blocked filter or motor brushes. If it drains ok then brushes are at fault.
