Hi,
Recently had stair carpet replaced and the pile (?) of the new carpet doesn't line up with the front edges of the stairs, both in the straight and corner sections. Carpet fitter has said that this is due to the carpet being fitted straight at the edges of the stairs but that the carpet itself is not made perfectly at 90 degrees. Not sure how I feel about this as I'm pretty sure in the fairly large samples we saw, the pattern was a regular horizontal/vertical at 90 degrees. Have posted a few pictures of the worst sections below - any thoughts/comments please?
Thanks,
Ted
