Hi All,
I am slowly preparing to replace the wooden back doors.
I have taken most of the measurements.
What other dimensions should I pay attention too?
I think I have missed the dimensions of the opening itself.

Frame
H 203cm
W 88cm
Thickness 9cm

Door
H 192.5cm
W 79.5cm
Thickness 4.5cm

Threshold
H 9.5cm
W 92.5cm
Thickness 4.5cm

As you can see on the attached pictures there is exterior insulation and on the inside the wooden frame is quite deep.
I cannot fit it from the outside (not to destroy the insulation) so the frame has to be installed from the inside.
I have hacked off some of the plaster and there is 0.5cm deep on either side.
On the top there is like a plasterboard and the frame goes at least 2cm deeper. Again I would have to demolish more of this to get a similar size frame.

Please advise.

Can’t see anything useful on pics , too close and no reference point.
The current door and frame measurement are of no use, only the opening size .
True. The pics only show the door frame is deeper not flush with the opening.

Another round of measurements:
Opening (outside)
W 85.5cm
H 201cm including sill/threshold

Opening (inside)
W 86.5cm
H 200cm

fyi I want to change for the new doors to open outwards not inwards like it is now.
There is a 1cm difference between inside and outside opening so I reckon I don't need any additional buffer in place, right?

I am looking at different items of the doors and these are things I am not sure what to do.

1. Hardware colour: Silver? I reckon the most common?

2. Energy Efficient Thermal Glass Upgrade
Thermal Argon Upgrade
Whilst every new door from Just Doors UK already conforms to the new thermal legislation, many homeowners are looking for the most thermally efficient door. The thermal upgrade will improve even further the U-value on the door by 0.2W/m2K.
Thermal Upgrade:
1) Argon Gas Filled Panes
2) Warm Edge Spacer Bars
3) Low E (emissivity) film

Triple-glaze?

3. Locking System
1. Standard 4 Roller, Deadbolt & Latch
2. Hook Lock Upgrade
3. Hook & Shootbolt Upgrade

4. Frame and Cill
a). Standard 77mm frame
b). Low 57mm Frame
c). low 25mm Aluminium £70

External cill = H 30mm

External cill + the Low Frame is still like 90mm of height.
Should I go for aluminium 25+30=H 55mm?

On the outside there will be wooden decking so in that case do I need the external cill?
