Hi I am having problems with my boiler. The lock out light is flashing (but does go out when I reset the boiler). When the boiler goes to fire up the pilot light only stays on for a few seconds. This goes on for a few attempts and then the lock out light comes back on. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not particularly expensive, probably. This sort of thing is usually attended to in a service, though it may need a new smallish part.
If you're really unlucky it'll need a circuit board or gas valve, part up to £200.
